A New Hobby

I have been stepping out of my comfort zone…….a lot.

The new hobby I mentioned in the previous post is bow shooting.  I don’t plan on hunting.  I’m shooting at targets only.  I know there are bow competitions held around here.  Who knows?  I may sign up for one :)

Here is what happened the first time I shot.

bow & graduation 007

Two huge bruises on my forearm.  Bruises I learned from.

Sorry for the blurriness.  I am having camera issues.

I’m all healed up and shooting again, getting more accurate all the time (and stronger, pulling back that bow is not easy)

Bow shooting 012

This is Mrs. Peanut, she is getting good!!!

Bow shooting 005

I love this pic of Tom and I shooting together.  A symbol of change, new interests and living life.

Bow shooting 010

I can’t help but think of Peyton when I shoot.  I know he would be so proud of his mom!!!

Thanks for reading :)

I love this! I want to learn how to shoot really bad! Trent has a bow and it's hard for me to pull back, when he gets a new one, I am going to have him loosen his old one so I can practice!!

That is so cool that you're out there embracing some changes and enjoying life with your hubby. I'm sure you do think Peyton when you shoot. He would think you're the coolest ever, wouldn't he?! : )

Soooooooo how well do you like the sport? And how much does Tom enjoy you doing it with him? I would guess a whole heap. :)

It's awesome to see people branching out, trying new things. Nice bruise BTW. Ouchies
