Vacation

I don't think I've mentioned it, but we (Me, Tom, & my two teenage cousins) are going to San Antonio in June. We are definitely going to Sea World, the Riverwalk and probably the Alamo. If any of you have been and have suggestions on what to see, where to eat, etc. I would appreciate it. Or if you have suggestions on what NOT to do, that would be good too.

Thanks for the help!

I love San Antonio! I love the Riverwalk! It's so pretty! I don't really have any suggestions - I've only been there twice and both times it was really quick, we were just driving through and stopped for the day. I hope y'all have fun!!!

Go to Pappasito's for good mexican or Pappdeaux's for seafood. Its the same owner and they also own Pappa's B-B-Q. and about 3 other restuarants. very good.

You will love it there!! We had such a great time years ago when we took the kids on vacation. Everything you mentioned is where we went and loved it. As to places to avoid... DON'T eat at Luby's and DON'T get the Liver and Onions if you brave it and go. I know - gross. Me and the kids sure didn't eat it, it was Kevin. And ohhhhh how he wished he hadn't. Food poisoning. It did make the trip to San Antonio very memorable! Hehe

We love San Antonio! Been there several times. We love Sea World... it's one of our favorite things to do in TX! They have special things you can do like dinner with Shamu and behind the scenes things. Those are fun for a little something special at the park. And the Riverwalk is fun. Shopping is fun in that area too. A large mall but also lots of little shops. You can ride boats in the Riverwalk. There used to be a fantastic cheesecake place right on the river...of course, I don't know if it's still there. There are also old missions there in SA. Beautiful old buildings and lots of history. (but you can't forget the Alamo.. it's right in the center of town!)

If you hopped on over to Austin, the capital is there of course. Beautiful rotunda. Also there is a museum there that we've yet to visit, but we've heard it's very good. Bob Bullock Museum. It's on our to do list next time we want to travel down that way.

Hope you have a great trip! : )
