9/11

Couldn't let the day pass without mentioning 9/11. I remember where I was when it all started happening. I remember being glued to the television watching the towers fall and then watching all the families that had lost their loved ones. I believe our whole country was crying along with them; I know I was. I also remember the pride I felt for this country. The United States is the greatest country in the world. It was founded on Godly principals and I am so thankful to live here.

Where were you when you heard the news about 9/11?

I remember sitting in class at school. We were all summoned to the bible school room to pray and watch the news feeds! I remember like it was yesterday!

I was at home - my parents were gone that day and my grandma called us and told us to turn on the tv cause the tallest building in NY just got hit with an airplane! We were a little shocked! :) We saw the 2nd get hit and the buildings fall! I remember thinking "what in the world is happening"!!

I was teaching 4th grade. I came into the library to start a video for my kids and I saw the tv screen. It was so unreal that this was happening in the USA. I remember watching the news when I got home and seeing countries paying tribute to the US. One said, "Today we are all Americans."

I was in 10th grade, sitting in a desk in Bible class when the vp of our school came in to relay the news to our teacher.

Crazy that its been 8 years already.
